Our Seeker is gone, but I'm confident there is some one out there that can be close to just as good with some training. Plus, I---"
He faltered. I'm doing it again. He had a tendency to ramble about Quidditch. He found that most girls that were polite enough to not walk away just got this glazed look, almost as if they were not paying attention.
"Anyways, I'm Keefer. Keefer Marius, sixth year." He made to hold out his hand, then thought better of it and passed it off as a move to smooth his hair. "But I can tell I interrupted your conversation with someone else, so I'll just go..." he trailed off.
Kurumi sort of stood there, frozen in place, as her skin began to tingle and itch. Quidditch...which reminded her of flying...which reminded her of Gryffindor's last match of the season last term where her broom had been shattered to pieces and she had gone into shock - a shock that still hadn't worn off to be honest. She had already told Selina that she was hanging up her Seeker robes and not going out for the team again, but the red head wasn't entirely satisfied with the fifth year's decision. Kurumi just couldn7t do it, she just couldn't bring herself to get back on a broom after that.
"
Yeah...um...good luck," she nodded. Slytherin still had a lot of strong players, even if Evelyn wasn't around.
"
Nice to meet you, Keefer," she smiled, bowing first and failing to notice he had offered his hand for a handshake. "
I'm Kurumi, but, oh, um...you already knew that. Um...fifth year." Chances were that he knew that too.
Just then, Kurumi heard the toot of the engine and shot a quick glance towards the crimson train. "
We probably should start heading on board..."
