a Christmas Wrapper Bauble!
photo editing by sweetpinkpixie Thing's you'll need:
a plain bauble (available at all craft stores)
acryllic paint - your choice of colour(s)
left over wrapping paper
PVA glue
paint brushes
Method: [1] Not sure what to do with your left over Christmas wrapping paper? But don't want to waste it? ... here's the plan. Using any design of your choice, whether it be eclecticly ripped/shredded paper or carefully cut out stars/other shapes, use these to make your very own christmas bauble.
[2] Start by painting your bauble a base colour (unless you plan on covering it all with wrapping paper, in which case just brush glue onto it.) Allow to dry (if going the glur option do NOT allow to dry.. of course).
[3] Using a paint brush apply a thin and even layer of glue onto the bauble and attatch your wrapping paper shapes. For a glossy finish brush on a very thin layer of glue on top and allow to dry, this will also help hold the paper to the bauble.
Tricks of the Trade:
This gift has been made and tested by your little helper
Hera and she has a few tips and tricks you might be interested in.
[1] Super easy and a great way of utilising left over bits and pieces from your crafty holiday season. My design was super simple, becasue I fail at crafts (in case you couldn't tell) but be as creative as you want to be.
[2] Majke one each year as a memory of gifts/people you shared Christmas with that year?
[3] You really can't go wrong... but again be patient with the paint drying or else you could potentially look like a bleeding unicorn
like me.
