Then the quite unappreciative boy flopped his leg carelessly on her lap. "Ow!" Ellie grumbled, glaring at him. Was that really necessary? She was actually trying to help him now and he was still being rude! Ellie was half-tempted to mangle his foot even more and leave. But she was nicer than that. And the better person in this situation.
Eyeing his foot, Ellie raised her wand and took a deep breath. For theatrics. "Episkey." She said, tapping his foot lightly with her wand. There. A simple healing charm to fix any small problem. And this was small; that kid was just making an unecessarily HUGE deal out of it.
"There. Happy?" She asked, shoving his leg off her lap and standing back up. He better be happy.
Edric gave a satisfied,
mocking smile as Ellie gave an 'ow!'. Heh. Heheh. Take that, evil toe-crunching GURL.
Aaaaaaand then she fixed his toes. Just a second after she muttered the spell, Edric felt a chilling sensation travel through his blood and, suddenly, his toes were like brand new.
And then Ellie just dumped his foot on the floor.
"
Ow!" Edric shot her a look. "Watch it, or you'll be playing nurse to my foot again!" he complained, picking up his left shoe and sock and placing them back on his foot. Once he had both of his shoes on and everything was good and perfect, Edric got up to his feet and picked up his trunk, just as Ellie asked if he was happy. "Yep. Very."
…
And then he just began to walk away.
Without a thanks.
"See ya!" He waved at the girl without looking back.
