But then Ellie was asking him to sit down and take off his shoe. A little second year passing by stopped, staring at them with a raised eyebrow, and moved on. Yeah, that hadn't been a weird request at all. And it seemed Ellie knew it, as she quickly added she realized how odd it all was.

"Okay…" muttered Edric, sitting back down on his trunk and pulling off his shoe, then his sock. This had better work. The boy was always wary and paranoid, so he still feared Ellie had something up her sleeve and planned to break his foot further or something. But he had to take the risk if he wanted his foot back.

As she explained she had a lot of books, Edric nodded. But then she added she also had a lot of shoes. He rolled his eyes. Of course she did, she was a girl. Edric knew nothing about the female species, so he just sort of went by the stereotypes taught by the media.

"Well, it looks like you're carrying five students' whole bookshelves in your trunk," he said, picking up his leg and then dropping it on Ellie's lap (rather carelessly, so he might've kind of crushed the girl's lap a little). He figured he should at least get comfortable.
When Ellie made her request, she noticed a little Hogwarts student stare at them for a a moment before with a rather perplexed look on her face. Yeah, that was a bit odd. But then they left and moved on. Good.

Ellie watched as the annoying little prat boy took off his shoe and sock on the 'injured' foot. She still couldn't believe this kid made such huge deal about it. Bah. Whatever.

Then the quite unappreciative boy flopped his leg carelessly on her lap. "Ow!" Ellie grumbled, glaring at him. Was that really necessary? She was actually trying to help him now and he was still being rude! Ellie was half-tempted to mangle his foot even more and leave. But she was nicer than that. And the better person in this situation.

Eyeing his foot, Ellie raised her wand and took a deep breath. For theatrics. "Episkey." She said, tapping his foot lightly with her wand. There. A simple healing charm to fix any small problem. And this was small; that kid was just making an unecessarily HUGE deal out of it.

"There. Happy?" She asked, shoving his leg off her lap and standing back up. He better be happy.
