She then giggled. "I'll tell you everything. Don't worry." she said with a smirk. She was so planning on slipping in something and convincing him it was the truth. That was... as soon as she came up with something good to tell.
Andddd... she giggled again. "Well. Seven years is a long time. Who knows... maybe I'll start liking it." Dressing girly was one of those things that happened with age, right? Along with liking boys?
She nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah! We can all take flying lessons together!" she said bouncing a bit. "It looks like a lot of fun. OH! And we can sit together at quidditch matches. I can tell you allllll about it. Mina gave me a book last year. And Asher filled in the bits I didn't quite understand when we met this summer." And now she was a quidditch expert! "Right. Pygmy puff." she said with a nod turning her attention to Asher. She frowned. "Not yet. I thought they should have similar names... since they're probably family." Or, at least from the same cage.
Her eyes widened. "Games? I love games!" she exclaimed bouncing up and down a bit. And now she was getting a hug! Yay! This was like the same kind of hug that Carter and Marilyn were having! Maybe that meant that they'd spend all next summer together!
She looked over at Alec to see what he thought about playing games on the train. He seemed to like the idea judging by his smile.
Which... actually made her feel a bit worse... She was not okay with him making new friends without her. But he seemed not to care at all. Okay. Alec wasn't mad. He wasn't mad at all. He wasn't mad about her finding out about magic. That was what she was talking about, wasn't she? And according to the weird Ministry man, you can't tell anyone about this. So he was okay with that. But she had written to Asher about it? They had talked about this for a whole year! Something that was a huge part of Anya and she had shunted him, Alec, out. Talk about being best friends! "And, erm, did it help?" he asked. As long as it helped her...
And yet there was something about that 'everything' that troubled Alec. Anya could never be trusted with these kind of things. Especially when she was smirking! "It'd better be everything!" he said, "I think we have a long journey there so some stories would be nice." You know. He can pretend he knew everything already and not be as surprised. Perfect plan!
Alec blinked. Start liking it? Skirt and heels? And Anya Phillips? "Really Anya? Skirt and heels?" he asked, grinning, "I think i can get used to that." It was his turn to smirk now. See? Hogwarts was brilliant and he wasn't even there yet!
All take flying lessons together... which meant Asher would probably be there as well. But if Adeline came along with him, he probably wouldn't feel so left out. "There are matches?" he asked. And Anya was going to tell him everything about it... when had the tables turned? "I'd like that, yeah. You can teach me everything there is to know about... Quidditch?" That's what it was called, wasn't it? As for the Asher filling in the bits... he wasn't going to comment on that.
Alec continued to look between Anya and Asher as they... were they just hugging? It can't be! If they were hugging, he wouldn't be so bugged by it all. But he was still going to smile. There's no use telling Anya that he didn't like her being around Slimy Romalotti. SPOILER!!: Adeline and Mrs. Holiday! Quote:

Mirra watched her daughter roll her big brown eyes at her and Mirra went back to listened to what the boy had to say for himself. "Alec Summers?" she repeated. "Yes...well then..." she started. "I don't want you to be around my daughter." she told him. She shook her head. "Now Adeline pick your things up and walked away from this boy." Mirra said in a strick tone. Alec blinked. Adeline was trying to tell him something. He looked at her lips carefully. What was she saying? It couldn't be anything bad could it? Maybe he could ask her to speak up a bit? There were too many people here and a lot of them were talking really loudly!
Alec turned to Adeline's mother as the woman started speaking. He gave her a smile. He might as well show her that he was nice, right?
O_____O
She didn't want him to be around Adeline? Alec looked down at Adeline and then up at her mother again. Why didn't she want him around her daughter? What had he done? He had only been nice! He hadn't done anything to Adeline or Adeline's mother. So why was she saying all this horrible stuff to him? "Am i allowed to know, erm, why you don't want Adeline to be around me?" he asked politely, looking at Adeline's mother.
