Oh, he was in a meeting, Ruby's eyes rose before taking on a concerned look. And then she heard the latter "leave one for him with me". Narrowing her eyes a bit, just a bit!! Vicky relaxed back into her chair and lace her fingers over her flat stomach. She looked at the girl closely and said
"It's nice to meet you Ruby."
The girl was much too high strung. Victoria asked her,
"Which department are you from?" she asked her to ease her countenance.
As she offered her two options, she saw a slight shift in the girls mannerism. Tilting her head a bit with a slight cock of her eyebrow Victoria had to suppress a chuckle at her reply,
"I see. Well be my guest and wait. I'm sure he won't be much longer." she said to her as she gracefully rose from the chair to put away some books in the cabinet behind her.
