Ruby Bell was shaking in her knees a bit, waiting by the desk. In her hand held a basket full of some nice danish sweets made for the entire office. Smiling sweetly (after checking to make sure no leftover purple-stains from her grape drink were on her teeth), she merely held the basket out in front of the desk where the secretary waited.
"G-good day Ma'am, I made these for everyone, please have one." Blinking quite rapid in fear. What if this lady didn't like her sweets, didn't want to accept it? Or perhaps she will burn them?! Gasp! No-no-no, that won't happen. Quick, Ruby explain more!! "I-I-I also wish to share some with the new Minister of Magic." Looking fondly towards the door, OHHHHHH Ruby hoped he was in the office. Not that she would mind, even if it took her traveling by foot across the globe to find him! Yes, oh yes she would. SHE WAS DEDICATED!! "I-Is he available?" Victoria looked up at the sound of a rather nervous girl. She gave the girl a kind smirk and said,
"That's very nice of you. Sure I'll have one. And please call me Victoria or Ms. Daniels. What's your name?" as she leaned forward onto her desk. She wondered why this young lady was so nervous. Growing up with three brothers knocked that right out of her.
Glancing over toward the Minister's Office she said,
"He's in a meeting right now but if you could wait or leave one for him with me. Either one will do."
That meeting should be an interesting one.
