Selina literally flew down the stairs of King's Cross station to get to the platform where nine and ten sat. For between those two platforms sat a large brick wall that held the portal to her world, the one thing that she loved without a shadow of doubt in her mind- Hogwarts. As much as she loved summer, because she got to see her family and relax, there was something about school that she could not put her finger on. Something that made her insides warm and her head feel all crazy. It also, perhaps, something to do with the beautiful red, Captain badge that she was sporting on her shirt. Perhaps it was not the best combination of colors, but she was so thrilled that she had been pretty much wearing it all summer. She was now allowed to do what she loved completely- Quidditch.
She turned her head around and yelled behind herself as she saw her family walking very slowly behind her,
"Oi! You lot! Hurry up, I have a train to catch. CAN'T MISS IT!" With that she walked closer to the platform until she stepped right in front of the brick wall... there it was.
"If she yells at me one more time I am going to have to hurt that girl," Sophie remarked to her husband who was currently pushing the cart of their fourteen year old daughter. She loved Selina, but she was too excitable for her own good. Everything had to be done on Selina time or else it was no good. Sophie liked to do things right and sometimes that took time- like walking. Walking did not mean running and screaming like a loon, which was precisely what Selina was doing at that moment. Jake chuckled and his pale blue eyes sparkled with mischief at his wife, "Come on Phia, you know that she is just excited. Let the girl have her fun. Besides, its always fun to mess with the Muggles around here." Besides, it was nice to see his daughter looking so excited and childlike. As of late she had been so "adult like". Everything was fourth year this, Gideon that, Captain, etc. All of those topics made him feel very old, especially that second topic. But he promised Sophie that if he saw the Gert kid at the platform he would be on his behavior. Messing with Sophie was not something he was keen on doing.
Finally her parents arrived with the James children at the wall to platform nine and three quarters,
"Well come on you lot!" She was too excited.
