Default of Professor Romanos

As you enter the office, the first thing that may come to your attention is the fact that the office may seem larger than others in the school; depending on if you've actually visited any other professors yet of course. Don't be fooled though, for it really isn't all that particularly bigger than the rest. The illusion of it being so is from the way the Professor had arranged the furniture and other objects around the room, trying to make it as comfortable as possible. The room itself has the warm yet striking colors that seem to both brighten and darken the office at the same time. The most common of colors are the deep reddish-brown that you may have acquainted yourself with from the waiting area sitting just outside, accented with a few different shades of reds, browns, as well as creams depending on where the light decides to land.

Apparently the Professor's desk wasn't considered to be the center of attention though, for to get to the actual desk, one has to weave their way through another large selection of chairs, each comfier than the next and quite matching to the ones outside; including a very plush leather couch sitting right in the middle where one may have to fight Alfonso to sit there. Dead center of the room sitting on top of a thin yet soft carpet, is a deep mahogany rectangular table, scattered with various books, magazines, and a silver tea set ready to be used. Once you do finally reach the Professor's desk, if you haven't flopped down to enjoy any of the seats beforehand, you could see it was made out of the same wood as the table you passed on the way up, and considerably neat despite the amount of paperwork and random materials that lay on top of it.

To the right behind the desk is a medium sized bookshelf lining the corner of the room, filled with books from top to bottom, some of them being Defensive Magical Theory, Seeing the Hidden: A Concealment and Disguise Guide, and Expect the Unexpected: Shield Magic, as well as a few out of place topics such as The Art of Meditation and The Magnum Opus of Scrap Metal. On the left side, there are a few filing cabinets used to document student grades as well as research from her own studies. The most unusual part of the room though are the little and not so little sculptures of creatures and abstract works of art made out of what looks to be metal, scattered around the room and even hanging from the ceiling. All created by Professor Romanos herself of course.

Make yourself comfortable if you'd like or stand in a fit of nerves if you must. If that's the case, Barnabus or Erma will surely try to comfort you the best way that they can. Be careful though, Barnabus does tend to drool and Erma gets rather clingy.
