Besides, we may never see some of our other friends again." Kissing his cheek she slipped her arm around him as they made their way through the room...
Right over to Nik. "Hey Nik. Got anymore secrets you and Mia need to tell me?" Like were they expecting a baby? Why else would him and Mia have eloped like they did... and then not tell any of their friends about it. Quote:

Oops, he hadn't meant to ignore everyone else, well, yeah he had, but he was going to give them all his hellos and congratulations in a minute, he just had someone important to say hello to first. But, while she was there, and so was Matty, he put on a smile and opened his mouth..
..just to have it close straight away.
He stared at Marie for a moment after her question, then turned his gaze over to Matty and stared at him for a moment as well. Anymore secrets to tell? Did that mean.. "Erm.." Clasping his hands together, his fingers twirled his wedding band around nervously and he diverted his eyes to a random spot behind the couple. "No?" Quote:

Oh Merlin!
She had missed him soooooo much and now he was here and she was never going to have to leave him again. Mia walked off the dance floor, forgetting that she was supposed to be dancing with her friends and when she was halfway to the door, she broke into a run and jumped into his arms. "I missed you." Now would be the PERFECT time for Mia to make her way over, so he wouldn't have to be faced with anymore questions from Marie. And if he wasn't so happy to see his wife, he would have had something to say about telling her friends that they were married. Not that he cared really, he didn't think she would have been able to hold it in for too long. He just liked to tease.
His smile returned to his face once he FINALLY saw her make her way over, and unclasping his hands, he held his arms out, the empty space ready to be filled with her. Of course, he wasn't expecting her to run and jump on him like that, but once she did, he chuckled and wrapped his arms tightly around her. "I missed you more." ---------------------- Quote:

Mia was pretty sure that the the containers of ice cream magically refilled themselves when they became empty, so there was no problem of running out. Well she hoped that was true because there may be fighting later on. "And don't think you're going to win that compeition." Because she had it in the bag. Gah!
She was making all this so difficult on herself! Destiny didn't even think, which wasn't something new, but usually when it came to food, especially chocolate, she used her head. Why did she have to dance first then eat ice cream. Why couldn't she do both at the same time!? It was a genius idea, and it wasn't like she could choke or anything. Everyone knew that you only choke when you are eating and dancing. You don't eat ice cream. At least, she didn't think so. "You never know, someone could get to it before me!"
Like Carter. Thankfully he was a little busy doing whatever he was doing. She wasn't paying any attention really. "I'm not thinking that." Duh. "I am knowing!" Which made total sense to her. SPOILER!!: Everyone attacking Patroclus! D: And Patroclus!!! Quote:

Shrug shrug shrug.
She didn't know why! Though it was a bit funny that she'd yet to really meet the guy. Hadn't everyone else met him already? Before she could ask though, Destiny had showed up. Finally. And if she was gunna dance with them...
Evelyn was backing up.
From the dance floor, she'd seen a bunch of other people finally show up. Most of them she didn't like, but that didn't matter! This was a party. And all of those disliked feelings could disappear for an hour or so. Her dancing stopped suddenly once Mia had left. And to whom?
HIM!
Mr. Mysterious had shown up.
Moving away from the dance floor a little, the ex-Slytherin smirked a little. However, her smirk faded into a look of disbelief when her gaze was diverted to someone else entering the room. Someone she had not seen in quite sometime...
Someone she KNEW. Someone who looked older than she remembered. Taller even, if that was possible, unless she just forgot how tall he was. And totally...there.
But he was still him. There was no way she'd forget him. "Patroclus." she said loud enough, but quietly at the same time as she weaved through the tables. Stopping just a few feet away from the guy, a smile growing on her face, Evelyn just...stood there for a second or so. No hugs. No extra movement or exclaims of joy. Nope. Nope nope. After that momentary second passed, her smile DISAPPEARED and she hit him.
In the arm.
Right there! Quote:

Not that he ever lost hope. "Welcome back, mate." he finally managed to say. Quote:

However, on reading the invite, he couldn’t help but feel some warmth in his chest; he knew at least one person had not forgotten him.
With this in mind, there was no way he was going to ignore the request for his presence, so on the morning of The Graduation Party, the Hogwarts Drop-Out dressed quickly and left the house. His wingtips pointed in the direction of Diagon Alley. The street felt unfamiliar to him once he arrived, since returning to London he had kept himself to the muggle world. Magic had wronged him, it had hurt his family, he had seen first-hand the destructive powers it had in the wrong hands, so he had stayed away from all things enchanted, but his longing to see his friends, and to see her brought him back…..
Trying to avoid awkward stares and confused looks, Patroclus pushed his way along the alley and arrived at Florean’s, bypassing the queue he headed to the party room. On the threshold he paused, held his breath and took a moment; a moment to silent the screams that constantly filled his head, to try and bring some light back into his eyes. He almost turned, ‘What am I doing?’ he asked himself, but he was here now, to get here had taken so much courage, something he use to have been known for, even idolised for……so he pushed open the door, and entered the room. And then Mia left, running over to that guy who had just walked in.
That Durmstrangler guy.
Destiny made a little mental note to get the guy alone and ask him how he liked the name Destinik for one of his and Mia's kids. She had to get to him before Mia did! She didn't want her friend to make him think she had come up with such a brilliant name. Pfft, taking all the credit.
Swaying on the spot, she was on the dance floor after all, Destiny glanced around, watching as, one by one, her friends also began to make their way over to the door. What in the name of Merlin were they doing!? Was the party over already!? She hadn't even seen anyone eat the ice cream. SHE hadn't even ate the ice cream!
Her swaying stopped after curiosity got the best of her, and standing on her tip-toes, she stared over in their direction. It didn't seem like they were leaving, and after realizing that they weren't, her eyes widened as they landed on Patroclus.
O_O
Evelyn had just PUNCHED him! |
