In a sense,Adam kinda wanted the cashier to make fun of him,that way he wouldn't have to endure not being made fun at,even if the guy was probably doing so in his mind.
He ruffled through his wallet an with a shaky hand pulled out the galleon "No..No sir..That's all."
With all that stuttering and shaking, Desperate!Boy did seem awfully nervous. Maybe he was shy and couldn't talk to the girl he liked without slipping some love potion in her pumpkin juice. Heh.
He took the galleon from the kid and smiled broadly.
“Thanks, man.” He said brightly.
“Just.. be careful with that, yeah?” He advised as he handed over the well wrapped package to the lad.
