Wow, he had nearly knocked her down. That would have been pretty embarrassing, on his behalf at least. Knocking down a girl on his last day at Hogwarts, at least last day of the term.

"Hunger is your problem?" Judging by her looks, she didn't strike him as someone to be short of money, but then again, maybe she was. Who knew? As long as she didn't ask him for money, it was barely his problem, so he shrugged to himself.

"That's the surname of the Head Boy." It was more of a statement than a question, but he still wanted some explanation. Was she his sister or something? Though she said it a bit unsurely, as if it wasn't really her surname...

"Oh, I'm João Neves." he said, shaking her hand. Easy and short for her. That was the most effective way.
