Are you sure you should be drinking Dr. Pepper?" She gave a little laugh. "Well, I guess it's ok, if anyone would like anything to drink I still have some extra from my hidden stash for parties. They are in my trunk."

Janice smiled, then took an empty seat with Patches still in her arms. She didn't dare to let him loose around the compartment, just in case anybody doesn't like cats or allergic to them or anything. But her hands get tired easily, so she slipped off a bit and put him on her lap (still with a hand attached firmly to his back). Better.

When Minnie started talking about Dr Pepper, she laughed. "Nah, I'm okay with my water. They're just as good as other drinks."
