Mia was oblivious to the fact that she had not told Destiny about her marriage to Nik, so her friend's question had her totally baffled. That wasn't uncommon when she got together with her friend. "You're being weird." Again. "Just spit it out."

Destiny knew Mia knew exactly what she was talking about. Look at the way she was holding up her hand to show off the ring! It was almost as if her friend was daring her to try and steal it. Not that she would ever do that, she didn't steal from friends. Plus, she would have plenty of time to steal once they arrived at the Amazon. Yes, she was really planning on going. She had no idea if Mia knew, though.
Shrugging her shoulders at her own thoughts, Destiny narrowed her eyes slightly when Mia called her weird.
"I prefer the term unique." It sounded less..weird when they called her that. And fine, if Mia wanted her to 'just spit it out' as she put it, Destiny would! She was too nosy to wait anyway.
"When you have a baby, will you name it after me?"
