Her smirk meant total defeat. He turned bright red and flailed as he tried to catch the book and stuff it away as quickly as possible. How could he have possibly been so foolish as to read that out in the open? Especially nearly Selina. If anyone would laugh, it would be her. And he hadn't even gotten to learn any good lessons from it yet!
"Um... I'm not." Oh that's great. In his panic, he tried throwing that out? It obviously wasn't fooling anyone. "...Because it's not mine....." Nice try. Idiot boy!

*Pull*
"Oww...you can be made to fly mister," he remarked after his familiar had decided to pull lightly on one of his curls, warning it as he walked pulling his trunk behind him. The only response he was given was a slight flap of of the raven's wings as he shifted for a better position. Gideon shook his head and returned his attention to finding a compartment to sit in for the journey.
Now where was everybody?
She blinked twice. What did he mean it wasn't his? He was holding it when she walked in the compartment. It only logically made sense that it was his, but then again he did say it wasn't his book. Was he just pulling her leg? Maybe... maybe not. She didn't want to believe him, but she didn't think that he would lie about that type of thing. Oh Merlin!
Her blue eyes flickered with doubt,
"Okay... if it isn't yours... whose is it?" Seriously, whose would it be if not his? She knew a lot of boys with that book. It could be anyone's. It didn't have to be his... oh merlin... she wrong? No! Yes? Maybe.
