Good going, Escalante. He nodded at her comment. Sierra was probably going to think that the "heat" was going to his head.
He secretly envied people who had siblings, and Sierra was another person added to the list. He's wanted a sister or brother ever since he could remember. Being an only child was too lonely. Kennedy shook his head, "No, I haven't met him." Now that he thought of it, he only knew one person from that house.
Kennedy smiled down at Harlow. She really seemed afraid of Sierra, but why? Sierra wasn't scary looking or anything. Eh, if Harlow felt better holding onto his leg then she could go for it.
He should have known they knew each other since they did play in the same team. "Right," he nodded. "How come you didn't play today?" he asked Harlow. Maybe she was busy with finals too?
Harlow grinned up at Kennedy and clung to his legs.
"Lola said she didn't want tiny people playing in case we got really hurt." She wanted to pout about that, but she didn't want to seem like a baby. Plus she wanted on the team next year and pouting wasn't the way to do that.
"But it was a great game and I had a banner and everything." she nodded. It was too big for her to hold but it filled out the stands nicely.

In other words, why are you clinging to his leg?
...but the conversation was moving on now, so for the time being, Sierra gave up on trying to figure out the motives behind Harlow's actions. "Yeah, I'm just happy finals are over for another year. That Arithmancy exam liked to have killed me," she admitted. Come on! A person for all nine numbers of every core!? It was brutal! She shrugged. "I'm doing alright. Even better now that we're a triple crown winner."
Speaking of blinking, Sierra did just that when Kennedy told her that he forgot to blink. "You...forgot to...blink?" she asked. She wasn't aware that was something you had to remember to do. Laughing lightly, she added, "Well, it's good thing you made it for it then." She had a feeling something else had happened, but she wouldn't ask him about it just yet. She'd already caused him to blush at least once during this conversation.
She shrugged when he admitted that he hadn't met Alex. "Its okay. Even I haven't seen him but once this school year," she said. "He lives with our sister, and I live with my dad and his fiancee. So at my house, it's really only me." Sierra really did have a confusing family life. "She your...girlfriend?" she asked, nodding once at Harlow, who was still clinging onto his leg.
Harlow nodded,
"Yep. I taught him how to dance and everything." she admitted. She thought that was a pretty big feat. And it had been a lot of fun.
"He's really shy sometimes but I think he's loads better than he was when school first started." At least he wasn't blushing every time someone talked to him.
"Im his bodyguard." And that's why I'm clinging to him like he is the last quill on earth. She noticed Sierra looking at her all weird for clinging to Kennedy like she was.
She smiled,
"It is pretty neat that we won everything this year. I got a lot of house points myself." she puffed out her chest proudly about her house points.
"I didn't do so well on Arthimancy its my worst subject." Numbers just weren't her thing. Words, colors, flowers she got. Core numbers and all that jazz went in one ear and tumbled out of the other in her world.
"But MoMo did great in the student gardens. He's so big now I'm going to show Professor Bentley before the summertime. He's too big for me to carry back home so I want him to stay in the gardens." she rambled like little kids did when they were excited about something.
