Jez half-smiled. "I know." She whirled around and pointed her wand at the dummies. "Confringo! Confringo! Confringo!" They sprang to life and advanced. "I think now's a good time for venting, don't you?" she said, her face brightening at the prospect of blowing something up. That always made her feel better, and it might put off the awkward conversation she knew had to happen. She ran up and jumped one dummy, sticking the tip of her wand into a hole in its head that might have been an ear on a human, and yelled, "Bombarda!" The dummy's head blew of and Jez was thrown to the ground. She rolled, jumped back up and ran at the next one, her eyes wild. She was in her element.
