After a few seconds of thinking, he had found a memory that he was pretty sure would be one of his best bets to get the spell right. Then, he took a deep breath and said in a strong, clear voice, "Expecto Patronum!" To his disappointment - although he really should have expected it, the only thing that came from his wand was a silvery mist that in no way resembled the German Shepard that Dallin had been hoping for.

Frowning again, he turned to Treyen and shrugged. "Um... that usually happens for me. Usually, I just have to try a few times, then I'll get it." Teaching skills; Dallin had none.
