| settling in :) Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict Still anxious over OWLs, Stella hadn't exactly forgotten that the Charms final was coming. More accurately, she hadn't forgotten that she still had to find out if Oberon was going to hatch or not, or if it was actually even male. I can always just switch your name to Titania if you're not, she thought, reaching a hand into her skirt pocket to pet the egg nestled inside gently. Plus, it was easier not having to bring her entire school bag with her. Just Oberon and her wand, but then she was used to carrying both around with her now at all times. That would be another change to get used to, along with knowing she survived her OWLs. She wouldn't have her pretty little egg to carry around and care for, even if she got to keep whatever it hatched into.
Even with all her other worries, she had faith that at least Oberon was cared for enough to hatch. It hadn't ended up in the swamp, after all, and it had never really seemed disgruntled at her. Therefore, it wasn't hard to give Professor Schirmer a smile as she stepped into the classroom. OWL worries could get pushed back for at least a little while. "Hello, Professor Schirmer," she said brightly as she made her way toward a cushion, then settled down. Pulling Oberon out of her pocket, she held the egg up at eye level for a moment. "Okay, Oberon. It's up to you now. You know I'll like you either way, but I'd love to see what you really are," she said quietly, before laying the egg in her lap.
Time to cast the spell, and she let her wand slide out of its holster as she glanced at the instructions on the board. Okay. This doesn't seem hard, she thought, before tapping Oberon lightly. "Effringo!" Of course, now she had to see if her egg wanted to move on to whatever its next step in life was. Her faith that it would only could go so far.
