Gideon returned to the charms classroom with his egg when the term was drawing to a close as directed by Professor shirmer, having been nearly over-excited as soon as the notice went out. This was it and he sure hoped he had done everything right along the way. "Good day Professor ," he greeted quietly upon seeing her standing quietly before making his way further into the classroom. The fourth year chose a cushion near one of the windows of the room and set himself down upon it before carefully retrieving his charge from within its cloth-wrapped mobile home within his robe pocket.
Once settled sitting indian style with his egg nestled on his lap, Gideon looked back up to the front and noticed the instructions on the board. He ran the incantation through his head a few times working on pronunciation before taking out his wand as well so he could do the spell.
Effringo...Eff in goh...Ef- frin -goh...
Then taking a deep breath and closing his eyes, he prepared himself for the actual casting, once more inwardly hoping all would go well. Finally he opened them once more and picked up his egg to hold it securely as he did his magic. "Ef-frin-go!" he cast taping the egg as he said the incantation, focusing all of his energy and attention on it as if willing the egg to hatch.
