Well, you never knew. Considering Recard probably didn't possess many brain cells - he WAS in the Cult after all - Gabe felt it best to point out where they needed to go. "Get a move on then. The sooner you are in there, and out of the way, the better for everyone." And maybe Gabriel would be able to tape his mouth up to stop him talking. Yes? No?
