"Well we dont mean for anything to happen, they just DO! I mean after Minnie left me, I didnt plan on finding anyone else. I was going to wait it out and wait for Minnie to realise that she wanted me back. But then she herself threw away my plan and hooked me up with Ronnie. So you see nothing happens the way we plan, it never does!" he said smiling as he thought about how he had vowed to wait for her, and how he had met Ronnie and spent a few evenings together before Minnie realised that Ronnie liked him. How Minnie had nudged him to tell Ronnie his feelings and how they ended up here at the present moment in time.
