When they entered the kitchen, the first person Hermione saw was George. She almost let go of Fred's hand because she didn't want George to start voicing his opinions on she and Fred again. But, instead of letting go, she squeezed his hand a bit. Oddly enough, the voice she heard wasn't Ginny's, but Tonks's. Hermione focused her gaze on George, who, according to Tonks, needed to explain where Ginny was.
