This is a dream," began Emma as her smile grew bigger and bigger by the second. Oh Merlin. She hoped that Alice would fall asleep really quickly or the Malfoy would burst in laughter about her horrible attempt to make her sleepy. Gah. Go to sleep little one...
Alice stared up at the blonde Malfoy, who was desperately trying not to laugh at her poor attempt to put the first year to sleep and failing miserably. The little girl could barely keep a straight face herself, but she managed to do so better than Emma. She quickly slipped out of Emma's cozy coat for the fear of falling asleep yet
again. The tiny lion's eyelids drooped and she yawned frequently, yet she was trying her best to force herself awake. I wouldn't do to nap now, not when she had a chance to spend time with her favourite scheming fifth year.
"
EMMA," the Gryffindor prodded the Malfoy with clear impatience; she was eager to get moving. "What are we supposed to do in here?" They couldn't step out of the Room for the fear of being caught by a teacher, or worse, a Prefect. Most of those just liked the taste of power and enjoyed writing up Detentions. Except, of course, a select few the girl had taken to since the term started. But Alice always thought that Emma would know what to do, because she was all big and smart and clever and whatnot. Yepp.
