Jez pulled away from Nate. He wasn't exactly a clean slate. Did that make Jez a player, kissing someone who was supposed to love another girl? Although with Nate, she could never be sure who he loved. Her hesitance showed in her eyes. "What about Faina, Nate?" she asked in a low voice. "What about Scott?"

Nate was glad his wand was on the ground, because he could have blown his own brains out right then and there. "Oh no..." Nate started pacing wildly back and forth. "What about them?" he said rather aggressively, mad only at himself for letting this happen again. But with Jez it had felt different, had felt truly right. But then again, Nate had felt something similar with both Pam and Faina. "They could both be off together for all we know! At least I don't have to worry about Pam, she likes Harvey..." Whoops...
