Next thing Braeden knew, Ruby was feeling up on him.
Immediately, the Gryffindork's bushy eyebrows shot up to his hairline and, after a second or two of utter shock, he smirked. "Ooohoho, you can't sneak up on me like that, Bubs! I'm ticklish; next time give me some warning before you decide to caress your hands all over my more-than-willing body."
As Ruby reached over and grabbed the opposite edge of the bowl of popcorn, Braeden pulled as hard as he could, almost bringing the girl over along with the bowl. "No way! I told you the deal and you pushed my feet off! If you want the popcorn back, you're gonna have to be more of a team player, Bubs."
He stuck his tongue out at her childishly.
Her face turned to disgust as Brae suggested that she was trying to 'caress' him--she was so disgusted that she couldn't puke quite yet.
"I wouldn't caress you even if you were dead, Stonem!" She shouted, spitting her hair back as it flew into her face. Though let's pretend she thought it was
completely disgusting, even though we all know Ruby was half tempted to do it again. COUGH.
Anywho, his grip only seemed to strengthen once she decided she wanted the popcorn back, which made it even harder to pull out of the lion's grasp.
"Deal?! What deal? There's no deal, you're putting your filthy, slimy feet on my lap! Now, hand over the POP--" But before she could finish her sentence, there was huge
CRACK
and the bowl broke in half, leaving the popcorn flying
everywhere. Including all over our two lion friends.
Great.
