Yup, loosen then bark. That's what she could do with that ridiculous sounding spell. Whoever invented flipnsnipwitit anyway? Could they not have chosen a Latin word? Anyway... Sierra wasn't sure if the spell would solve the problem of the bark being all over her 'wand', but it couldn't hurt to give it a try. It'd be way easier than pulling the bark off by hand, at least.
So with a swish of her wand, she said, "Flipnsnipwitit!" To her surprise, the bark was sliced right off the twig. Hmm... She felt silly saying the incantation, but if it worked, it worked. "Flipnsnipwitit!" she said, over and over again until the bark was free from the wand. ...but now the wand was all bumpy. Sierra frowned at it and wondered what she could do to solve that issue. Surely there was a spell somewhere...
Then she remembered the Glisseo spell they'd gone over not too long ago. It was supposed to make things smooth and slippery, like a slide. She aimed her wand at the uneven parts of the twig. "Glisseo!" she said, causing the wand to get smoother and smoother. "Glisseo!" she said again.
Sierra peered over her notes once again: Known to be a Pure-blood
Most likely a Slytherin
Married a Muggle
Was good at sports (Gobstones)
Argued with husband
Neglected her son
Gave the look of having a 'sour face'
Core: Dragon heartstring
Wood: Yew
Length: 10.5"
Flexibility: Unyielding
She'd taken care of the wood part of the wand...as well as the length. The wand was also trimmed free of bark and made to be smoother. So what was left to do? She looked down at the wand. Oh, ...right. She needed to add the core and then make the wood a bit more unyielding.
