"What do you do first?" she asked raising her hand, "After you concentrate on the 3 D's, I mean. Or if you just focus on that spot will you just appear there?" That didn't seem right...didn't you like have to do something first?

For a moment Katherine hadn't been completely sure the kid asked a serious question; didn't she just sort of go over what they did first? Focus. But after her dark green eyes darted to the various faces around the room, she was sure the girl HAD been serious. "You focus, my dear. Picture the spot you want to apparate to clearly in your mind - that's the destination. Picture yourself arriving to that spot in once piece - determination. And the last, deliberation, when you free yourself in its entirety from your current spot, when you liberate yourself, and go." What did they expect? Wand-work? "There's no spells or enchantments. Just 100% focus. Mind clarity."
