Minerva calmed her breathing and tried to remember the first step after coming near it. Bowing that's right. So Minerva bowed to the Hippogriffe and kept her eyes on it. The hippogriffe looked at her and tilted its head. It stepped forward and made a noise. Minerva froze move or not she wasn't sure. She waited just a few more seconds and when the creature didn't bow she stepped back away from it.
