The wand needed to be carved inside to fit the cores in, and for that the Ravenclaw used, "Defodio," just like anybody else in the room. Tracing her wand along the Ash wood piece, a long uneven cut was formed but it was good enough for her. She held the Acromantula web with the tip of her wand and placed it on top of the Ash wood then with her wand, too, she shoved the web inside the cut crumpling it to fit inside completely.

The Basilisk skin had to be touched, though, and with as little space as she could. She used Diffindo once again to cut the skin into two pieces before using more severing charm to cut narrow long pieces out of each part. After that she placed the narrow long skins on top of the cut in the Ash wood and with a sticking spell, "Lentesco" & the cores were safely steady in the wood piece.

"Reparo," and the Ash wood mended again, a tiiiny part of the Basilisk skin was visible from both tips of the wood but Louisa was oblivious to this imperfect mending spell. "Glisseo," Louisa uttered to smooth out the Ash wood.

Once finished with this, she held the forged wand and did a jabbing move with it. Hmm. Not quite flexible. She'd call it sturdy.

Louisa slung her bag over her shoulder and stuffed the new wand in the outer pocket while holding her own, "Scourgify," the tiny pieces of cores and wood produced by charms work disappeared leaving a clean workplace. She didn't want Scabior deducting another ten points for unseen dirty on his tables.
