"We will still live in Sweden, for the most part. But I have two very good reasons why I'm building the house. As I said one is a promise to your father and two is for my cousins. Growing up in a castle is... it's hard to explain. You feel watched, at all times. Act this way, walk this way, speak like this. Some of my favorite memories were when Gabben, Kayla and I would spend a weekend at Kayla's cottage. It was a safe place to be normal. No meetings, lessons, or... what's that muggle thing? A microscope? Living under that."
*Letting out a long sigh, because he had just said a mouthful, he kissed her back then shrugged.*
"I want my cousins... and us to have a place to escape, and be normal."
*He knew she might not fully understand what it was like but that was Matty's whole life. Living in a fish bowl at all times. That's why he liked being at Hogwarts. A place where no one knew him and he could be normal.*
