Of course, most people tend to forget that I even am an auror so, I suppose that contributes to people's lack of trust in me because how could a klutz like me possibly be an auror. Well, let me tell you something, Mr. Wealey," she said, poking her finger in his chest. "I may have barely passed Stealth and Tracking but, I got top marks in Concealment and Disguise, not to mention high marks in all the other courses I took to become an auror. I've been an auror for the past four years and haven't been fired, yet so, I must not be too terribly bad at what I do and if a qualified auror isn't enough protection for your sister, I don't know what else is.
"She can't stay here anymore and if you make her stay here, she'll do something stupid, like try to leave without telling anyone and wander off somewhere dangerous. At least she's got me and I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you. Besides, the poor girl needs a friend and something to keep her mind off the fact that the man she loves is in some serious trouble with the Dark Lord.
"I'm going to take her with me to the Ministry on Monday to find her a job so she can feel useful. Maybe she'll come back here on her own at some point after she's gotten her life together but, for now, she's staying with me," Tonks finished her ranting and leaned back with her arms crossed over her chest, having dropped the broom and cage in her agitation. "A little... brother..." Snape repeated, a bit thrown by her sudden affection. "I can arrange a portkey for you and, if it makes you more comfortable, I can accompany you, as well."
