We're never gonna stop, stop, st-st-st-stop;
We'll always be on top, top, t-t-t-top;
We're serpents 'til we drop, drop, dr-dr-dr-drop;
We're always gonna win, we are Slyth-er-in!

...

"So," she suddenly stopped, "you want us to start singing this at the match, so the others would join, right?" You know, just to be sure of her super secret and evil mission.

"May I ask what is going on here?" She said crossing her arms.

That is so awesome! It's actually kind of catchy really. Victoria was really into it until a horrid thought struck her mind. She really doesn't want to be earsdropping or anything, but this sounds really awesome. Should she leave? Yeah...maybe she should until one of the singers found out Victoria was listening in. Maybe...

Victoria froze. She had stuck in the doorway and saw Professor Lafay. When...where...did she come from? Uh oh. She doesn't seem too happy about the singing. This would be a great reason to walk away. But since her curiousity had lead her this far, one of the people must have seen her.

"I think they're having Slytherin spirit professor." Victoria called out from the doorway. What? Why did Victoria open her mouth? Why did she even say anything? Victoria was furious with herself. Blabber mouth, now see what you've gotten yourself into? Victoria thought.

She looked to Sierra and then to her HOH & her fellow class mate and said "Uhm were just learning a chant for the next Slytherin Quidditch match Professor that's all, just to show some house spirit, Sierra is our 'serpent sidekick' & she thought this would be a fun way to get involved.." Ariana said with her hands behind her back & her head down hoping they weren't about to get in trouble.

"Hello, professor," the girl mumbled, and then biting her lower lip, wondering if she should say anything at all. There was another unknown Slytherin that looked like she actually enjoyed Sierra's chant, but still... were they in some kind of trouble because they were singing in an empty classroom?

... probably.

That was when Nora was tempted to ask whether they were doing something that was against the rules but, at a second thought, she kept that to herself. "We were just singing," she said, throwing a quick look at Ariana, then at Sierra, and then finally fixing her gaze on her shoes.

She was afraid that professor Lafay might have Basilisk powers.

Well, this was good. Both of them were chanting now, and they'd been good about agreeing to cheer on the team at the match. Perfect. Now those lame Puffers would have even less support in the stands, and the Slytherin victory would be even more sweet. "That's right," she answered Nora. "There's two of you now," she said, speaking of Nora and Ariana, "and maybe you can get a few more to join in? The louder we are, the more we can drown out the other house."

She passed Ariana a pleased smile just as she heard an oh-so-familiar voice coming from the direction of the doorway. "Professor Lafay," Sierra greeted with a smile, heading over to greet their Head of House. She overlooked the way the woman stood with her arms crossed over her chest. This was all about Slytherin pride here, and she was more than happy to explain that. "We're showing our Slytherin pride, of course. I had an idea to teach Nora and Ariana, my Serpent Sidekicks, a chant that they could use at the championship match," she explained. "We've been a little short on cheering fans at the last few matches, so I thought it'd be awesome to give that area a little push in the right direction."

Just then, another voice sounded at the doorway, and a Slytherin girl appeared, apparently having just listened in on the chanting. "That's exactly what we're doing," she answered. "You wanna join in, too? We can teach it to you." She looked over at Nora and Ariana, who looked a little worried at the presence of Lafay. She wished she could tell them what she knew--that Lafay was one of the most amazing Quidditch players Slytherin had ever seen. House pride, especially when it came to things like Quidditch chants, was likely something Lafay would appreciate.

...or so Sierra hoped.
