I don't know about everyone else, but most people follow the golden rule of 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you' and this can be linked to good sportsmanship. Would you want someone to criticize your performance during a game? Or show a blatant lack of respect for you as a fellow participant in a sport? Or brag about their team's accomplishments before/during/after a game? I know I surely wouldn't. Lots of things can happen in the heat of the moment in a game, but that doesn't excuse anyone from not showing graciousness or respect."
