Ah, yes, hippogriffs. I hope we get to see some this lesson. They're supposed to be very majestic creatures.

And yet, Keefer had a few misgivings. He head heard of a student being attacked by a hippogriff during a lesson decades back. Immediately, Keefer resolved to listen closely to the Professor man so he wouldn't be mauled.

Both hands up, Keefer waited to be called on before beginning his try at an answer. "Sir, I think the first thing to do is simply to make eye contact. It's just the polite thing to do, after all." And if they are easily offended, manners can't hurt, right?

He continued. "Then I think you're supposed to bow, while still maintaining eye contact. And if you blink a lot they tend to think you aren't trustworthy or something, right?" That would be bad. "Then if the hippogriff bows to you, you can approach it safely. If not... then you should back away so you don't get attacked." Just like that poor student years ago.
