~ Rise and Rise Again, Until Lambs become Lions ~ Evander was here. Oh thank Merlin's scraggly, tangled, flee-ridden beard. Things were starting to look up.
...But the man looked dead serious. Given the situation, Sabel figured that was appropriate. He had to hand it to the Aurors, to their composure and calmness amidst a potentially volatile situation. And Evander seemed to know just how to calm things down to a negotiable level.
It was a lot of lowered voices and private words, but he supposed the best negotiations were private conversations where judgement and expectations were put on hold. It was much harder to be hostile towards someone willing to talk, than someone that insisted on yelling and shouting.
Slowly, Sabel made his way to stand by Damien and Gabriel; not so much as to get in their way, but simply to be there, ready to receive any orders that may be forwarded.
