He knocked at the door and waited patiently for a response.
He looked at his watch and checked his robe and coat. He is a bit dizzy still and his mindset is not for work yet but he needs more effort. Alexander grinned at the students, specifically his daughter, as they excited the office and headed away to meet up with Borr. Borr... Perhaps he should have asked his daughter to stay behind? He looked toward the door for a brief moment, considered it, but then dropped the matter altogether when he heard a knock at his door.
Dear Merlin! The office was as busy as King's Cross Station today!
He pushed himself away from the seat behind his desk and headed toward the door. He peered out the one-way viewing glass, noticed his guest was one of the advisors, and then turned the knob to open the door. "Mr. McMillan," he said with a nod. "Well, come in then." He stepped away from the door and headed back to the seat behind his desk, expecting the man to close the door once inside.
