Ryoma's smirk was removed and quickly replaced by yet another boyish smile. Merlin, the blonde was turning him into a softie. Next thing he knew he was going to be delivering a dozen red roses to her room and opening doors for her. What was this? Some sort of fluffy feel good movie? Still, seeing the smile that the necklace brought to her face made that all seem, well, not so bad.
Shaking his head a bit, he took both ends of the necklace and slowly lowered it around her front, leaning his head down to kiss the back of her neck before closing the clasps. "Happy Birthday," he chuckled. "Give or take a few months." He laughed again at her next comment. "Fine, but then I get to stick to my old ways." See, he could be diplomatic about these things.
