Presley was confused and conflicted as she walked into the Ancient Runes classroom. She nodded her head absently at the professor. "Hello, professor," she said distractedly. She shook her head out. Ancient Runes was a terrible time to not be in the most focused state of mind. She blinked twice, and made her way to a seat next to her best friend, Luna. "Hey, Lu." she half-smiled.

She pulled out her notebook, but left her pencil in her bag, very un-Presley-like. She knew fully that the wizarding world used parchment and quills, but her mother had taught her to read and write with a notebook and pencil, and that's what Presley still was most comfortable with. Of course, assignments were handed in in the traditional format, but notes were only for Pres.

Not even realizing she hadn't gotten out a pencil, Presley started tracing designs on her paper with her pointer finger, so it looked as though she was day-dreaming. Again, not at all like Presley.
