I'd like to firstly take the opportunity to thank those of you that vollunteered your time and came down to help with the clean up, I assure you it was very much appreciated." There was no way she could have done it all herself.. it wasn't so much the work that was involved, Seren didn't mind getting her hands dirty, but simply seeing the greenhouse in that state that it was... well it broke her heart. So the help was very much appreciated. "Now as you can see," she said gesturing around at the empty beds and pots and hangers, ".. there is still some work to be done. And that's where todays lesson comes in." "Today we will be sprucing up the place a bit and adding a little colour."
Pulling the medium sized box toward her she picked it up and gave it a gentle shake, just enough so that the seeds inside them rattled and clinked. She was rather fond of these beauties. Lifting the lid she exposed the seeds within. They were shiny, pea pods shaped like shells, in bright colours. They came in pink, purple and orange. Such lovely colours in Seren's opinion. "Now can anybody identify what seeds these are?" Stella nodded, still with the smile on her face, as professor Bentley had assured her she was doing well, too. It was entirely the power of positive thinking, or maybe just the fact springtime had arrived and everything was just so bright and cheerful. She hadn't said anything else, however, still watching the box as more people had filtered in after her and she was forced to wait to see what they'd be studying in the lesson. She was still hoping for no manic magical beings to interrupt, although she made sure to pull her hair back in a braid before she slipped gloves on to be ready for the lesson. It wasn't abad idea to keep her hair pulled back in Herbology anyhow, even without crazy pixies.
She looked at the pods curiously as they were revealed to be the contents of the box, eyeing them as the lesson began and trying to decipher their origin. Everyone else was answering around her, but she waited a bit before raising her hand. "Did you hybridize some puffapods? They usually only come in pink, don't they?," she asked. The pods definitely looked like puffapod seeds, all excepting the fact they were different colors. If the professor had actually managed to create new types of puffapods, that would have been exciting. Even if Stella only had the slightest interest in herbology, knowing her professor could manage that was interesting. Of course, there was always the possibility all of them were wrong, too. That just wasn't what she wanted to think about right now.
