But it makes me happy to see your smile and excitement when I come with gifts. See even now you are nice enough to say that you dont want gifts"

he laughed when she said that a bigger office would be nice "Yes it would be, but it might not seem as cozy as this office is right now. What do you say Caltex?" he asked the cute bundle sitting by his feet now, who then went over to the professor and curled up by her feet. "Always loyal to you I see." Harvey said smiling at Caltex.

It was comforting to know the young Claw wasn't using all his resources simply to get her gifts, that would have been horrible.. especially when he could get himself lots and lots of candy instead.
"I suppose that's alright then," she said with a smile, "But don't you go making a habit of it, your company is enough of a gift."

"Cozy is one thing, but cramped is another..."
Perhaps she'd look at getting a teeny weeny bot of an extension charm put on it.
Seren grinned down at her bundle of white fluff. "Only when he feels like it, or when I have something he wants."
It was probably feeding time soon.

SPOILER!!: Sierra

...or taking care of the mountain of homework she had to do. Blahh. "Well, your office is getting pretty crowded," she noted out loud. "So I guess I'll go now. Have a good day and thanks again." She gestured toward the cake. "See you in class."

With a final glance around the office, she turned and headed out.

"Not a problem dear, take care." ... and keep out of trouble, though she didn't say that bit out loud.

SPOILER!!: Kurumi

Kurumi was impressed, or confused, by the expression that had come over the woman's face. It reminded her of one of those lionesses when they are trying to protect their cub from something. She looked both fierce and gentle all at the same time - a look Kurumi was not used to seeing on a motherly figure seeing as her mother never really showed that emotion when it came to Kurumi. "The flowerbed had molded over as well." Beyond repair in the young Gryffindor's eyes, but best to leave that out for now.

"Rune of harvest...got it." She did as she was instructed to and walked over to the desk and knelt down to open the drawer and began to rummage through its contents. Merlin was there a lot of stuff in here. Several multicolored shovels labeled in fancy calligraphy, but she didn't spent too much time looking at them as she continued to search for the rune. "Found it!" she called as she held up the tin. Was she going to get to see a real practical use of a galdr in action? Kurumi had to admit that she was on the edge of her seat in anticipation when this thought struck her. Seeing theories actually applied outside of the classroom always got her heart pumping.

She hurried back to Professor Bentley and handed her the tin.

The sight of the little sappling was rather distressing, but there was no point in panicing or being upset, after all she had over looked the little thing earlier... if it hadn't have been for Kurumi it would have been dead. So, if it lived, that would be a bonus.

Oh good, the Gryffindor did know about Runes. Fat lot of good they were. It had been the first, and the last time she purchased a Rune artefact from a back alley Peruvian market stand.

Taking the tin from Kurumi's hand, she gave it a tap with the end of her wand. But the lid wouldn't yeild. "Blasted thing... don't know why I bother with it sometimes," she said giving it another, firmer tap. This time the lid came off smoothly revealing a a light blue powdery substance within.
"Powdered horn of Bicorn," she said, pinching a bit between her fingers and sprinkling it over the exposed roots of the plant. Or at least what was left of them. "It will help absorb the moisture without danaging the roots any further..." taking a scrap piece of parchment, she lay the plant out on top of it, leaving it sitting on the corner of her desk.
"... now we wait and see. There's no point re-planting it just yet, not while the roots are so far gone, this time tomorrow we'll know if it was successful."

Oohhh so the lesson had taken the girls fancy. Brilliant.
"Not a problem at all dear, what's on your mind?"
Moon planting was something she could talk about for hours... the Moon itself not so much.

SPOILER!!: August

But it made him smile smally at the Herbology Professor when she spoke about wanting to get to know the person rather than that nonsense. "Thanks."

He didn't know that many great witches and wizards had been half-blood or muggleborn. Why hadn't he known this?! "Wow, I had no idea..." he trailed off. So why did Eino make him feel so bad. "So do most witches and wizards know about that stuff, what you just said?" She was making him feel better about himself and beginning to see that there was nothing wrong with him, it was the Ravenclaw boy that was wrong.

"Well..." he started trying to think of things from their last two times being together. "He sort of freaks out and seperates himself from me when I brought up that I was Muggleborn or when I tried to calm him down about Muggle transportation that he was afraid of."

Auggie was beginning to wonder if he should tell her who it was.

"Most do..." she said nodding sincerely, "... but of course there will always be the few exceptions that don't understand, simply refuse to understand, or have been taught to think otherwise."
Many were often influenced by family. Ridiculous. Stupid. Nonsense!

At least, if it was any consolation, the situaltion that August described wasn't all that serious, even if it was mildly alarming.
"I see," she mused. There wasn't a great deal that could be done about it, not unless they were reported officially, or unofficially to an extent.
"Well... all I can really say is, just don't let it get to you." Yes, it was easy enough to say, but she understood that there were often implications that came with ignoring things. "But if this person continues to make you feel uncomfortable, or if their behaviour escalates, I do urge you to tell somebody... I'd be more than happy to have a quiet word to them, perhaps try to enlighten them on the situation." Give them a darn good wake up call.

The boy was annoying, yes but it also crossed her mind that he had the chance to be her friend. If only he was not that annoying.

She looked up at the Professor and remembered her Aunt Belinda. They were alike. Always concerned and caring and warm. "I'm sure we'll do fine Professor. Besides, I think I have finally met my match." She looked at her watch and found out that it was time to head back to the Common Room. She had once again stayed too late outside. "Professor, thank you for your time but I've got to go back now," Beatrice said as she stood up.

"I'll take your word for it then."
Just so long as the annoying didn't drive the girl insane, then it wasn't too bad. She offered the Ravenclaw another smile as she stood to leave. "Thank you for stopping by, it was very nice of you."

SPOILER!!: Zhenya

"They don't grow but, about the size of them now," which was about the size of a small mandarin. "And the bush itself only grows as big as it is now," which was the usual size of a miniature rose bush. "The pumpkins bloom the month of Halloween only, but when it is October they do look rather amazing," she said smiling. Yet another one of her grandmothers plants! "We have 5 bushes at home, and they just top off the Halloween decorations! I thought you might like it."

Seren was throroughly pleased... and thoroughly confused to see Zhenya carrying a remarkable plant... but talking about Halloween? Had the girl gotten her calendar mixed up?
"Uhh... thank you Zhenya, it's lovely," she said smiling, glossing over the fact that it was March and not October. Perhaps she'd gotten her facts confused?
"I'll definitely look forward to next October."

OOC: In the RP it has just changed over from February to March (;
