"Well I shall keep that in mind...should the need arise again," Gideon remarked absently wondering if there ever would be a time. As well as if he would ever have the nerve to pull it off. "Nae...no reason to feel foolish. Its yer heritage," he added with a smile. If one couldn't be proud of where you came from, what could you be proud of.
Elektra...so she had seen her too.
"Aye I had. Though I thought I was mistaken," he answered, admitting his original thoughts. Obviously wrong if they had both seen her especially seeing as Selina would surely know her friend by appearance.
Selina continued to sway with him as they spoke about the most awkward subject possible- Elektra. For Gideon seeing her must have brought up memories of his first kiss. Selina all it did was remind her of the friend who never said goodbye. What in Merlin's name had she done to make Elektra so upset that she would not speak to her? Had she hurt her in some way that Selina was unaware of? And why would she just leave without saying hello? They had been friends for so long. Merlin, Elektra spent the summer at Selina's house.
Her eyes looked back up to meet Gideon's and she said,
"Yeah me too. Maybe we were just seeing things?" She doubted it.
