Laura skirted around the different sets of cubicles and approached the set belonging to the Environmental Permitting office, clutching her mug in both hands. Things were a bit slow in their division, and this was the perfect opportunity for them to sort out some of the other issues at hand. Eager to begin, Laura casually leaned against the closest desk and waited for one of her employees to make an appearance.
Sigrid sat quietly at her desk, and continued to read intently whilst she awaited the arrival of her co-workers. It did seem rather slow here, and Sigrid would find it rather difficult to remain seated for much longer if things were to carry out in the same fashion they now were in.
A shadow was cast down over the pages of Sigrid's book, and the young woman looked up to see what had caused it. Another woman was nearby, leaning over a neighboring desk.
'She looks like she's waiting for someone.' Sigrid thought and lowered her book slightly.
"Excuse me." She voiced up,
"Are you looking for anyone in particular? I can help if you need assistance." Sigrid cracked into a little bit of a smile and chuckled.
"Don't know how much help I would be though, me being new and all that."
