Maybe he should sleep now and never wake up. Yes, that felt like the right thing to do yet that expression Carter had on his face upon seeing him there totally distracted him from the idea.
And that he asked that question...which made Josh look even more sour faced and sigh.
''No more 'out with Evelyn' moments for me.'' so he said hoping it would be enough for him to figure out what had happened. He would figure it out, right? Yet...that was Carter Phillips, only Merlin knew what he would understand from that.
