Pam looked up at the sudden noise. It was Nate. She didn't know who he was talking about, but it was one of two people. Pam, or Faina. And she had her money on the latter.
Of course it's me! He loves me. He wants to be with me. You're just a friend. And you always will be. The voice in her head continued to hiss profound things to her. It had come to the point were she forgot about Nate completly. She was too worried about the voice. She couldn't get it out, and she probably never could. She pulled her knees up to her chest, buried her head, and started crying.
