Sorry it's been so so so long! Hope this okay, they'll be more to come! Hannah xxx __________________________________________________ ________________________
Dew teetered on the grass around the castle and an eager breeze wrestled with the auburn leaves clothing the tall trees dotted around the grounds. The Entrance Hall was full of excited chat and bustling students. Filch became lost inbetween the groups of keen and impatient bodies that were flooding out into the crisp morning.
Just passing through the giant, wooden doors, were Felicity Libelle and Draco Malfoy.
Draco barged through the other students looking very irritated; his hand clasped around Felicity’s, who was wearing a mildly amused expression. A blue scarf twisted around her neck contrasted unflatteringly with Draco’s green one, and she pulled her fitted coat around her slim frame, her tumbling brown hair blowing softly back like a flag, as she faced the tolerable but cold wind. Draco, looking back and noticing her discomfort, pulled her roughly under his arm and together they walked along the road to Hogsmeade.

The village was full of chatting students, jogging happily from shop to shop; Felicity and Draco strolled in and out of various stores and cafes, which were all full to their brims.
Finally, after much encouragement on Draco’s part, they made their way, hand in hand, to the Shrieking Shack.
The air seemed to become harsh and sharp as the dilapidated building loomed in front of them, the golden leaves swirled menacingly and swooped down into their anxious faces. Felicity let out a small whimper and Draco’s silvery eyes were narrowed in apprehension. A wolf howled; the echo bouncing on the surrounding trees and fading with one last chill. The bushes behind them rustled, both Draco and Felicity turned to look, their mouths slightly open and each other’s’ hands held tightly inside one another. A wide – eyed rabbit hopped out of the shrubs and bounded away towards the village. Felicity and Draco relaxed, laughing, and walked closer to the Shrieking Shack boundaries.
The wind had picked up significantly, and it whistled and howled as it sped through the broken windows of the building, dead ivy clung desperately to the grey bricks, and clear water dripped loudly from the roof.
“Eerie isn’t it.” Felicity managed. Draco nodded, and gulped slightly louder than Felicity imaged he’d like to admit. They sat down on a damp, mossy bench looking down on Hogsmeade, the sun was now peering from behind a golden – leaved tree, white clouds meandered around it, and rays of warm sunlight sprinted to the earth. The light made Draco’s white – blonde hair illuminate and his metallic eyes swirl, even on such a windy, rosy day, his face was still perfectly pale. Felicity rested her head on his shoulder, and Draco kissed her hair. Their fingers still intertwined, Felicity and Draco wasted away the afternoon sat outside the Shrieking Shack before making their way back into the village to return to the Castle.
The day had been long and tiresome, Felicity’s fair cheeks were rosy, Draco’s still marble, they lethargically dragged their aching and chilly bodies back to the castle.
The golden light escaping from the wide doors, into the Entrance Hall, reached out like warm hand spiralling into the setting landscape, in groups, the third – years stepped into it’s safety, Draco once again pushed the others aside on his way to the indoors, Felicity apologising to harassed students as she flew along behind him.
The homeliness of the castle greeted them like a friendly hug, and the smell of the delicious food that was waiting for them in the Great Hall wafted through the warm air. Unable to wait a second longer, Draco and Felicity followed the scent.
Four long, wooden tables of moist beef, creamy mashed potato, bright vegetables and rich pumpkin juice lay invitingly in front of them, many students already happily chatting and eating. Draco and Felicity’s separate friendship groups waved to them.
“Thank you for today…I can’t say I’ve ever been so scared and so incredibly happy at the same time in my life, you horrible, wonderful individual.” Felicity smiled,
“Pleasure.” Draco said simply, Felicity laughed. He looked at her adoringly for a second and kissed her curtly on her soft, blushing cheek, his white lips curled into a composed smile, and the two parted to the Slytherin and Ravenclaw tables, sat down, and began to eat as though they hadn’t done so for days.

Panic and fear poisoned the compressed air in the corridors, the paintings were screaming and ghosts flew manically in and out of walls. Students filled the corridors, fright fixed upon their faces.
