The two of them had always insinuated it, but it had never been said, at least to each other.

He was standing over her, as usual, but now his presence over her was a great irony. Gideon Gert was standing over her head... just always out of reach... not knowing what to do with him whilst he was there.

Gideon almost let out a sigh of relief when Selina assured him that she didn't want to forget him or just what had happened since they met. And it was a relief and one worry of his mind. He watched as she blushed and dropped her gaze, waiting to see what else might develop but she remained quiet as if still unsure of things and it felt like they would just continue to slip back into an uncertain slope if one of them didn't stand up and act.

"Then I'm taking the first step, for both of us. I want ye," he remarked before shaking his head realizing how it sounded. "I mean I LIKE ye...and I want to give this..." he added motioning around them with his hands absently, "a try. But I dunna want to pressure ye if you dunna want to as well."

There...he had admitted it.

And as brave as he was at times, fitting into his house, Gideon had to admit he was doubly afraid at this moment. Did he just make a mistake? Did Selina want to give it a try as well? The quaffle was in her court sort of speak and he anxiously awaited some sort of response.
