Well, the bit about the Hate Potion, Marilyn could understand. She'd also taken a dose of the potion...but it didn't do much good because the blond was pretty sure she already...

Hearing his stuttering, she moved to look at him once more. Carter looked...very nervous.
"I am okay with it...It's just...Well, I'm a bit concerned, now." In the name of self preservation...and why she hadn't told Carter the extent of her feelings. This was a perfect example. Talking was fine...
"You know, I'm sorry for assuming...things. I just want to spend time with you. I've been so busy lately that I haven't been able to take a minute to think straight." That penalty on the pitch had been a result. Getting frustrated and wanting to hurt someone. It wasn't good.

It wouldn't be an issue unless she made it an issue, right?
