Edvard stopped to eye up the portrait of an old woman with glasses, a hideous flowery jumper complete with a handbag with painted ducks on it. "I'm not your son and the minister almost ruined the event for the kids." he said hotly as he moved on down the floor. To smash a snowman which a child had worked very hard on, was just not right!

Dash hopped down the steps two at a time, making his way back to the first floor. Really, a trip to the Owlery took forever. It was frustrating enough to make him think about getting his own personal owl. But he didn't really want to replace his old loyal pet, just because the creature had passed on.

He had bigger issues to worry about than owls anyways. Like the mad man Borr attacking him...and possibly losing his job! Taking a short cut past the ANNOYING portraits, Dash slowed his pace once he noticed one of his colleagues "Alright there Edvard? Will I be needing to take you to the hospital wing?" Because he really didn't want to. Now WHY was this man actually paying attention the the portraits that never shut up?
