Cass broke her glaring contest with the pie pan and looked up when she heard someone move to the spot next to her and smiled when she found that it was none other than Kurumi Hollingberry herself.

"Hey Kurumi." Cass said cheerily with a smile as she pressed the dough to the corners of the pan, making sure to leave no open spaces of air pockets. If this thing was going to be the base for the pie, it shouldn't have gaps right? Even if they weren't going to bake the thing. "Really cool idea for a game. Pie baking."

Finally, when she was satisfied with how stuck together the pie dough was and the pan, the blonde set it aside and the 20 pieces of sliced apples close to her. She held one slice up to her face and peered at it closely, glancing back and forth from it and the pan at her side. "You look way to thick for apple pie." Cass murmured to the apple, as if it could hear her. Then she set it back down on the table and pointed her wand at it "Diffindo." causing it to divide into two more parts, but still way to thick, she repeated the spell a couple more times until she was satisfied with its current thickness - or rather, the absence of thickness - and did the same with the other apple slices until they all looked alike. Thin, crudely-cut apples. Satisfied, she gathered them together, dumped them on a mixing bowl, followed by her way over the 3/4 limit cups of sugar, two spoonfuls of flour, 3/4 teaspoons of ground cinnamon, a pinch of salt, an even smaller amount of nutmeg, and a whole tablespoon of lemon juice. Ech. She never did like lemon juice, but she didn't want to compromise the pie.
